This site is for you!

d-Ability.org is a place to explore and learn more about life’s possibilities following a disabling injury or illness. We do this by giving you direct links to the websites of people and organisations from across the world - people with a multitude of backgrounds, abilities, skills and experiences to offer.

You will be able to find links to anything from mouth painting to mountain biking, fashion to wheelchair football, ten-pin bowling to international travel. Use these links to get in contact with people, ask questions and learn more about your own abilities and potential from others who have created lifestyle opportunities for themselves following injury or illness.

Whatever your lifestyle and interests, we hope you will find something that offers you new ideas or more quickly reconnects you with the things you love doing.

Where to start?
To get an overview of the variety of people and organisations you can link to here, we suggest checking our new ‘HOT LINKS’ section. Otherwise, choose from the menu options above and begin exploring a world of inspiring people and ideas...

Subscribe to ‘HOT LINKS’!!
You can also subscribe here to receive a monthly update on the new websites from across the globe that we feature on d-Ability.org . We’ll e-mail an attachment that you can print up and put on your noticeboard or forward on to others. Take advantage of the experiences, knowledge and achievements that others have to share!

After contracting meningococcal meningitis septicemia in 1996 I've slowly progressed around my horses. Both my legs were amputated, I have limited arm movement and strength, with no use or feeling in both hands or wrists, plus all my internal organs were damaged. In 2000 I began competing in dressage and Para Equestrian comp's with the Equestrian Federation Aust' for able-bodied riders, Riding for The Disabled Association Australia and since 2006 with The Federation Equestre Internationale. Since then I haven't looked back.
